The Canary Island Date palm gets its namesake from the place where it originated. This majestic palm has been used as a focal point in landscapes worldwide for decades. Among its many attributes one can count a caliper trunk, dark green foliage and a huge canopy. This palm can withstand 15 degrees Fahrenheit temperatures after established. Young Canary Island Date Palms resemble giant pineapples which make it a spectacular container grown plant. For best result, plant in ground April – August (Zone: 8). Year Round (Zone: 9 &10).
